Nathan Herman is a disabled 36-year-old writer currently residing somewhere in the urban wilds of Massachusetts. He doesn't usually refer to himself in the third person, but this seems like a special occasion. In the past seven years he's been writing a book about his life with an amazing woman named Ali, his disability, and his life in the years since her death.
